Our journey started during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Amidst the chaos, we turned to art as a form of therapy and found solace in the power of creative expression. As we started exploring more about art and its healing properties, we stumbled upon the incredible work of local artists in Melbourne, Australia, who were also struggling during these tough times. Inspired by their work and passion, we decided to collaborate with these artists and create beautiful art pieces together.

We soon discovered that the process of creating art was not just therapeutic but also empowering, giving us a sense of purpose and community. This led us to broaden our scope and reach out to talented artists worldwide, connecting with them to bring unique, handmade pieces of art to your home.

From humble beginnings, we have truly had the privilege to make an exciting expansion launch in 2022 with the support of loyal modern art community. Our vision is to create a space where people can connect with art in a meaningful way. We believe that art has the power to evoke emotions, inspire creativity and spark conversations across the globe. Art is communication without limitation of language, and expresses our emotions in its rawest forms - regardless of culture and race. 

Our Cause 

At The Urban Narrative, we're committed to giving back to the community and the planet. We are partnered with Trees.org and with every purchase you make, we plant a tree, contributing to reforestation efforts and offsetting our carbon footprint.

We are also proud partners of Pencils of Promise, a global non-profit organization that's dedicated to providing quality education to children in some of the world's most underserved communities. Since their inception in 2009, Pencils of Promise has built over 500 schools in countries like Ghana, Guatemala, and Laos, positively impacting the lives of over 100,000 students and their families. Their approach is holistic and community-driven, involving local partners and stakeholders in the development and sustainability of each school. They also provide teacher training, support student health and wellness, and empower girls through their "Girls' Education Program." Their efforts have helped improve educational outcomes, reduce gender disparities, and promote social and economic development. 

With every purchase, we donate 5% of our profits to support their programs and build more schools, contributing to a brighter future for children and their communities. We unapologetically believe that education is not a privilege, but a right.
